INTERIM TESTING MAKEUP:
Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors
who did not complete interim testing on October 17th must report to
school on October 24, 2014 to take
the exam.
DETENTION WILL BE HELD THIS FRIDAY
10/24 FROM 8:00AM-11:00AM
Students will have the opportunity to
serve:
- 3 detentions by staying until
1:00pm
- 2 detentions by staying until
12:00pm
- 1 detention by staying until
11:00am
STUDENT MUST BE IN FULL UNIFORM.

DAMEN BLUE LINE RIDERS:
Damen Blue Line riders: Damen will
be closed Oct 20–Dec 22. for major
upgrade work–use Western or Division
SENIOR FIRECATS AND FAMILIES:
Seniors will attend a Big Group on
Monday, October 27, 2014, to get
information about the senior rings
and to fill out cap/gown order information. Please be aware that senior
ring orders will be placed on November 5 after school (3:50-4:30) with
our Herff Jones representative, Mr.
Cranley, in room 210. If you have any
questions, please reach out to Ms.
Balsewich.

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFIT CONCERT:
On Thursday, November 6th, UICCP’s
Fine Arts Department will be hosting
a benefit concert to raise money for
two of our 10th grade students to
take private lessons. The school’s
top two performing ensembles, Honors Band and Honors Choir, will be
performing and there will be concessions and raffles. The concert begins
at 7pm in the gym. Tickets are $10
or $5 for UICCP students with an ID.

UIC College Prep is accepting applications for prospective 9th graders! If
interested, please attend one of our
two admission information sessions
to learn about the school and pick up
an application for enrollment:

Parents, please be advised the first
RCPU for the year is quickly approaching. As a friendly reminder,
please make any payments in the
main office before report card pick
up. To pick up report cards, your student account must be at $90 or less.
Invoices are going home along with
this newsletter, and passes will be
passed out next week for you to bring
to RCPU to help expedite the process and avoid long lines. For billing

from the main office. All applications are due by December 19th by
4:30pm. Any applications received
after December 19th at 4:30pm will
no longer be eligible for automatic
enrollment and will be added to the
waiting list based on the time and
date received. If you have any other
questions please call or stop by the
main office.

Los Seniors asistirán a un grupo grande
el Lunes, 27 de Octubre del 2014, para
obtener información acerca de los anillos de graduación y llenar información
para su cap/gown . Tenga en cuenta que
los pedidos anillo de graduación serán
colocados el 5 de Noviembre después
de las clases (3:50-4: 30) con nuestro
representante Herff Jones, Sr. Cranley,

CONCIERTO DE BENEFICIO PARA BECAS:
El Jueves, 6 de Noviembre el Departamento de Bellas Artes de UICCP será
el anfitrión de un concierto de benéfico para recaudar fondos para dos de
nuestros estudiantes del grado 10 para
tomar clases particulares. Los dos mejores conjuntos musicales de la escuela,
Banda de Honores y Coro de Honores,
se presentarán. También habrá concesiones y rifas. El concierto comienza
a las 7 pm en el gimnasio. Los boletos
cuestan $10 o $5 para estudiantes de
UICCP con una ID.
FACTURAS:
Padres, tenga en cuenta que el primer
RCPU para el año se acerca rápidamente. Como un recordatorio, por favor
hagan cualquier pago en la oficina principal antes del día de recoger su boleta
de calificaciones. Para recoger las boletas de calificaciones, su cuenta estudiantil debe estar en $90 o menos. Facturas se envían a casa junto con este
boletín de noticias, y los pases serán
pasados la próxima semana para que
usted traiga a RCPU para ayudar a acelerar el proceso y evitar las largas líneas.

org. Estudiantes de Coro que irán a Filadelfia la próxima primavera; tengan en
cuenta que a pesar de que la cuota ha

Tortorice.

¿TIENE UN HERMANO EN EL 8VO GRADO?:
Si usted tiene un hermano que es en
octavo grado y está interesado en asistir
UICCP por favor venga a recoger una
applicacion de inscripción en la oficina
principal. Todas las applicaciones se
reciben hasta el 19 de diciembre a las
4:30 de la tarde. Las applicaciones recibidas después del 19 de diciembre a
las 4:30 pm ya no serán elegibles para
la inscripción automática y se añadirán
a la lista de espera basado en la hora y
fecha de recepción. Si usted tiene cualquier otra pregunta por favor pase por la
oficina principal.
Regrese la porcion de abajo de esta carta dentro de (2) dias a su asesor para recibir 100% de credito hacia su grado de asesoramento.
