SALUDA DEL ALCALDE
Ya ha pasado un año y de nuevo, en pleno mes de agosto cuando el calor aprieta y casi todos
estamos de vacaciones, en nuestro pueblo dan comienzo las Fiestas en Honor a la Virgen de la Paz,
patrona de las Urbanizaciones del municipio.
SALUDA DEL PÁRROCO
Una vez más, a través de estas lineas que se me ofrece, en este programa de festejos de Agosto en la
Urbanización de La Marina, y en el contexto de fiestas en honor de la Virgen de la Paz, un saludo a todos
los residentes y visitantes durante el verano.
Como cada año, desde que comenzaron estas celebraciones hemos tratado desde la Concejalía de
Fiestas de mejorar tanto en calidad como en variedad de actos. Para este año hemos preparado un
programa alegre y fresco, acorde a las fechas de celebración.
El periodo vacacional para aquellos que pueden realizarlo o el residir por Ios motivos que sean, de
forma especial, durante estos meses de Julio y Agosto, es necesario para desconectar de la rutina de
todos los días. Desde mi condición de párroco, invito, a aquellas personas que se consideran creyentes
a participar de la Eucaristía, como algunos lo hacen, en Ia Iglesia, todavía en construcción de La
Marina, dedicada a Ia Virgen de Ia Paz. El segundo domingo de Agosto la festejamos, mirándola de forma especial
como aquella que nos une, que nos reúne y que nos invita a ser constructores de la necesaria paz, tanto a nivel
personal, familiar, social. A pedirle, como un día decía san Francisco de Asís, a que nos haga instrumentos de paz,
para comprender, motivar y construir una sociedad y un pueblo que se ayuda mutuamente, que se solidariza con
las necesidades ajenas. Una meta, difícil pero, no imposible si ponemos un poco de esfuerzo, parte de la realidad
que nos rodea irá cambiando.
No quiero terminar sin animaros a que participéis en cada uno de los actos programados y que sean días de
felicidad y diversión para todos los residentes en las urbanizaciones y para quienes nos visitan.

are celebrating the festivities in honour of the Virgin of

urbanizations within our municipality.

Schutzpatronin, der Virgen de la Paz, stattfinden, zum
Anlass nehmen, alle Mitbürger ganz herzlich zu grüssen.
GREETINGS FROM THE PARISH PRIEST
Once again I would like to greet both residents and visitors
of the Urbanization La Marina on the occasion of the
celebrations taking place in August in honor of The Virgin
of Peace (Virgen de la Paz).
Für alle, ob sie hier im Juli oder August ihren Urlaub
verbringen oder hier ansässig sind, ist es wichtig in dieser
Zeit Abstand von der täglichen Routine zu bekommen. In
meiner Funktion als Pfarrer lade ich alle Gläubigen zur
Teilnahme an der Eucharistie in der noch im Bau
befindlichen Kirche in der Urbanisation La Marina ein, die
der Virgen de la Paz gewidmet ist.
During the holiday season it is important for both holidaymakers and residents, to disconnect from the daily
routine. As parish priest, I invite all the faithful to participate
in the Eucharist in the Urbanization church still being under
construction, which is dedicated to the Virgin of Peace.
On the second Sunday in August we celebrate our Patron
Saint who unites us and invites us to bring about peace in
our personal and social relations. As Francis of Assisi once
said, we ask the Virgin to turn us into instruments of peace,
to make people help each other and show solidarity with
the needs of our fellow citizens.
A difficult, but not impossible goal, and if we put in a little
effort, the reality that surrounds us is determined to
change for the better.
Am zweiten Sonntag im August feiern wir unsere
Schutzpatronin, die uns vereint und uns einlädt in unserem
persönlichen sowie sozialen Umfeld Frieden zu stiften.
Wie schon Franz von Assisi einmal sagte, bitten wir die
Jungfrau darum, uns zu Werkzeugen des Friedens zu
machen, um ein Zusammenleben der Menschen zu
ermöglichen, wo man sich gegenseitig hilft und sich mit
den Bedürfnissen anderer solidarisiert.
