Marqués de Murrieta es más que una bodega
centenaria. Es la bodega más antigua de Rioja y clave
en la definición de los vinos en la segunda mitad del
XIX, pionera y con miras internacionales. Considerada
una de las mejores bodegas del mundo, desde hace
30 años está en manos de la Familia Creixell, con el
primogénito, Dalmau Cebrián-Sagarriga, conde de
Creixell, a la cabeza. Desde su fundación en 1852,
Murrieta se ha ganado una posición en 75 países y
exporta más del 60% de su producción, proyectando
la imagen de firma histórica y familiar, apegada al
terruño y capaz de adaptarse sin perder su identidad.

There is more to Marques de Murrieta than a centennial winery.
It is the most ancient Rioja winery and key to the definition of
wines in the second half of the 19th Century, a pioneer and
with an international outlook. Being considered as one of the
best wineries in the world, it has been run for over 30 years by
the Creixell family, led by their firstborn, Dalmau CebriánSagarriga, Count of Creixell. Since Murrieta was founded in
1852, it has achieved acclaim in 75 countries and exports over
60% of its production, projecting the image of an historical and
familiar firm, attached to the land and able to adapt without
losing its identity. The latest twist has been the renewal of its
50,000 square metres of gardens, the historical buildings and
centennial Ygay Castle, the foundational winery, which reopens
with customized service for high-quality tourism.

Logroño cuenta con una red de parques de varios kilómetros que rodea la ciudad como un anillo
verde: un lugar ideal para la práctica deportiva. Asimismo, cuenta con un campo de golf público y
unas instalaciones deportivas que le han valido la declaración como Ciudad Europea del Deporte
2014. La ciudad cuenta con un spa o balnerario urbano público, del Ayuntamiento de Logroño, y
en La Rioja se puede disfrutar del esquí en la estación de invierno de Valdezcaray, a 70 kilómetros
de Logroño.

the practice of sports. There is also a public golf course and excellent sports facilities upon which
Logroño has been declared European City of Sports 2014. Besides, the city also boasts a public
urban spa, run by the city council.On top of all this, in La Rioja skiing can be fully enjoyed at the
Valdezcaray ski resort, just 70 kms. from Logroño.

Semana Santa logroñesa y las fiestas de San Bernabé y San Mateo, que son de las más divertidas
del Norte de España. La Batalla del Vino de Haro y los Danzadores de Anguiano son dos tradiciones
riojanas de fama mundial. En los monasterios de San Millán de la Cogolla nació el idioma que hablan
más de 500 millones de personas en el mundo.
