L
a provincia de Castellón es la más septentrional de las tres provincias de la Comunidad
Valenciana, que armoniza sus 120 km. de costa con playas de limpia y fina arena, con un interior
agreste y diverso, que ha convertido a ésta en la segunda provincia más montañosa de España.
Contamos con ventajas geográficas (clima, pertenencia al eje mediterráneo, lugares impresionantes como las Islas Columbretes, etc.); una cuidada oferta turística, con una excelente relación
calidad precio; diversa y rica gastronomía; y un patrimonio histórico y cultura único, que facilita
que el destino “Castellón Mediterráneo” sea muy apreciado por aquellos turistas para unas
vacaciones perfectas.
Nuestros municipios ofrecen una gran variedad de alojamientos turísticos, tanto en la costa como
en los municipios del interior, en los que se incluyen los más de 8.500 apartamentos turísticos.

The Province of Castellón is the most northerly province of the three provinces constituting the
Valencian Community. Its 120 kilometres of coast with beaches of clean and fine sand are combined
with a wild and diverse inland which makes of Castellón the second most mountainous province
in Spain.
The geographic position of our province offers great advantages such as a superb climate, a location
in the Mediterranean axis of travel communications, wonderful sites such as the Columbretes
Islands, and many more. Castellón also boasts well-cared tourist supplies representing a great value
for money; a varied and rich cuisine; and a unique historical and cultural heritage, which makes of
“Castellón Spain” a highly valued destination for visitors seeking their perfect holidays.
Our municipalities offer a great range of tourist accommodation options, both on the coast and
in town and villages inland, including over 8,500 tourist apartments. This guidebook displays
the various companies managing those lodgings and offering accommodation on the coast and in
inland villages, so as to allow those visitors who explore our province enjoy a truly unforgettable
stay in this land.

La provincia de Castellón, es la más septentrional de las que forman la Comunidad
Valenciana que, como nuestra provincia, se sitúa al este de España junto al mar
Mediterráneo.

Castellón es hoy en día uno de los principales polos de atracción turística de toda
Europa, pues, al gran abanico de posibilidades de ocio que posee, se une una
moderna red de comunicaciones en el arco mediterráneo español y europeo.

a autopista AP-7, que forma parte
de la ruta europea E-15, cruza la
provincia de norte a sur y la une con
comodidad a Europa. Por su parte la
Autovía Mudéjar (A-23), que transita
por el sur de la provincia, también
forma parte de la ruta europea E-07
y facilita las comunicaciones con la
cornisa cantábrica y el sur de Francia.
La carretera N-232 une el norte de la
provincia con el norte de España.
por lo que dispone a diario de trenes que
la unen con Europa y con las principales
capitales españolas.
El aeropuerto de Castellón, de próxima
apertura, ofrece nuevas vías de acceso a
nuestras ciudades, playas y montañas,
acercando aún más Castellón a Europa
y poniendo a disposición de los viajeros
nuestra oferta turística y nuestra
estupenda climatología con más de 300
días de sol al año.
Asimismo el puerto de Castellón recibe
cruceros y es así punto de partida para
los cruceristas a numerosos puntos de
interés de la provincia.

Nowadays Castellón is one of the main tourist attractions in Europe. Not only has the province a wide range of leisure

the visitor, but it also boasts a modern transport network along the Spanish and European Mediterranean Basin.

The AP-7 motorway is part of the E-15 European route and crosses the entire province from North to Southh linking it upp conveniently
with Europe. Moreover, the Mudéjar highway (A-23) goes through the South of the province and is also part of the E-07 European route,

closer to Europe and offering the passengers our tourist attractions and our excellent weather, with more than 300 sunny days per year.
As for Castellón’s harbour, many cruise ships moor there, making it the starting point for trips to many interesting parts of the province.
A wide range of coaches and local trains bring closer the furthest places in the province in a very simple and convenient way, so everyone
