that are listed in the book of Intentions. And all that have
died, that they are rejoicing in the eternal home of God.
THE GIFT OF GENEROSITY
We thank everyone who has supported Saint
Anthony. If you need a convenient way to make
regular offerings, St. Anthony encourages you to
look into our e- giving options. Online giving
accounts for any exchange of funds outside of
paper money (that means cash or check). This
includes automated bank drafts, online bill pay,
credit cards, debit cards, etc. As the pace of life
speeds up, you may find electronic giving a most
welcome way to make contributions. Visit
www.saint-anthony.com.
MASS COLLECTION
COLECIÓN DE LA MISA
July 17, 2016— de 17 julio 2016
Collection/ Coleción……………….$17,148.00
Weekly attendance……………………2062
The weekend of July 30-31, 2016, Reverend Joseph
L. Nguyen, C.S.Sp., will visit our parish to speak at
the Masses about the Missionary work of the
Church and in particular that of the Congregation of
the Holy Spirit (“the Spiritans”), earlier known as
the Holy Ghost Fathers. To learn more about the
Holy Spirit Fathers, visit their website at
www.spiritans.org.
This visit is part of a national program whereby
annually a representative of one of the missionary
groups visits parishes of the Diocese to enlist support for the mission work of the Church. The Congregation of the Holy Spirit is an international community engaged in a wide range of missionary activity in many areas of the world. Fr. Joseph has
been appointed to serve the Spiritan mission in Vietnam,
and will be leaving for his new assignment in August of
this year.
When Jesus said: “You shall witness to me in Jerusalem
and in Samaria and to the ends of the earth”, He made
the spread of the Gospel an essential part of our Catholic
life.
We urge you to respond generously to Father Joseph’s
appeal. Thank you again for the opportunity to minister
in the parish and to share with the people a vision of the
Church reaching out to the peoples everywhere.

The Hungry Heart Retreat will look deeply at the questions you may have about sexual
morality, about your own body and how you were uniquely created for greatness.
This retreat is a dynamic mix of stories, real life examples, activities, prayers and relevant references to the culture. Hungry Heart is based on the Theology of the Body
for Teens curriculum from Ascension Press. We will look at topics such as:
• Why did God give us our sexual desire?
• What is the difference between love and lust?
• What does our sexuality teach us about God?
• Can Christ bring healing to me if I’ve already messed up?
• How can I discover my vocation?
• How far is too far?
• How can I remain pure in an oversexed culture?
• Is there any hope for overcoming lust and pornography?
• ……..and many more
• Parents—There will be an information session before the retreat
Dates: August 12-14, 2016
